Do not fear the darkest night.
For when it's time to go into the light,
turn around and walk alone.
Let the darkness be your home.
So many souls ask out of fear:
“What will happen once I’m not here?
Will I be forever gone?
Will I be judged for all I’ve done?”
Why do you ask such foolish things?
When in the end, there is nothing.
Nothing you would need to fear.
Only shadows veil this last tier.
You will see them soon enough.
And when you do see through the bluff.
For you’re the light you want to reach!
This is what the prophets teach.
So have the courage. Stand alone.
And let the truth never be gone.
In your final moment, then,
you will remember that once when
you stood there, lonely, once before.
Without any fear, forever more.
So do not fear the darkest night.
And let your light shine so bright,
you will be born as stars.
